Vinicola Decordi was founded in 1921 and at the beginning was a family tavern, where food and wines of the local tradition were served with great success. This success encourages the Decordi family to become increasingly interested in wine, so as to convince them to start a small artisanal production: in 1937 Vinicola registers the activity at the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, in 1950 it builds the first major production plant with over 3 million liters of capacity and in 1964 it was furtherly increased by adopting one of the first existing automatic bottling system. In 2005, with the fourth generation, the company is ready for new challenges: a new headquarters is inaugurated, the production structure is growing and new markets are opening up in emerging countries. Despite its modern and prestigious premises, Vinicola Decordi preserves the link with the places of its history: the old tavern, where the grandfather bottled the wine for the inhabitants of the village who stopped to drink a glass in company, still remains the place where the Decordis love to welcome and entertain guests and customers. Accompanying the typical dishes with the right wines, it recreates in a moment the atmosphere of a genuine tradition and an authentic bond with the territory and its flavors, which is still today the distinctive feature of Vinicola Decordi.Like Decordi, those who have a long tradition in wine production know that the difference today is above all the quality of the product.
